6 mm clear tempered glass panel with rounded corners, custom-cut up to 120 x 180 cm (1200 x 1800 mm), with ground and polished edges. Tempered safety glass (ESG) according to DIN, with an edge stamp. Tempered safety glass is thermally toughened, making it considerably more stable than ordinary glass and particularly more resistant to impact and bending loads. It is also less sensitive when hot objects, for example, are placed on a glass tabletop. In the event of breakage, tempered glass breaks into small glass fragments, helping to minimize the risk of injury. For these reasons, tempered safety glass is used for tabletops and as glass panels for door and window infills. Tempered glass must not be modified after manufacture, for example by drilling or sawing.
